Pastor Nicholas Lilienthal was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana in December of 1992, the third son of Gene and Cynthia Lilienthal. In addition to his two older brothers (Michael and Benjamin), he also has a younger sister (Patricia).
His father joined the Evangelical Lutheran Seminary ministry shortly after his birth, his childhood was spent in Luverne, Minnesota, and Brownsburg, Indiana, where his father served as pastor.
Pastor Lilienthal graduated from Brownsburg Public High School in 2011, received his Bachelor’s degree in Theatre from Bethany Lutheran College in 2015, and spent several years working various jobs and studying his languages before entering Bethany Lutheran Theological Seminary in the fall of 2018.
Nicholas served his vicarage serving Grace Lutheran Church in Weston, Ohio, and Peace Lutheran Church in Deshler, Ohio.
He is now serving Resurrection Lutheran Church in North Bend and Christ Lutheran Church in Sutherlin (his first call in the ministry 2022).
